Why Couples Fight. You don't fight about what you think.

Couples don't fight about what they think they fight about. It's not "the big five" they identify in surveys: money, sex, raising the kids, in-laws, or house-work. Lovers fight when they believe their partners don't care about how they feel. They fight about the pain of disconnection.

When Strangers Click - A Documentary

The Internet plays cupid in When Strangers Click, a film about the search for human connection by way of online connection.

Premiering Valentine's Day, February 14, only on HBO.

Directed By: Robert Kenner

Plot Outline:
Finding love has never been easy. But it’s also never been easier. Online dating sites thrive on the promise that dates and mates are just a “click” away… but are they? From the director of last year’s Oscar nominated Food, Inc. comes a compelling new documentary about the way we woo in a wired world.

Kim packed a wedding gown and flew to Prague to marry a man she had only met online. Dave met scores of women before having to reveal a physical shortcoming. At 30, Beth had given up on love before going online. Ryan Googled “gay” to figure out who he was. And Jonas literally found a new life through his Second Life avatar. When these strangers clicked, their lives changed forever.

Produced By:
Marc N. Weiss, Melissa Robledo, and Robert Kenner

The first time was for 10 minutes at an airport.

"I got to hug her and say hi, and all we did was cry," Keppy said of the 2002 meeting with Chihoko Nakamura.....
